- History and heritage:

Built in a spiral staircase, around its medieval castle, the houses benefit from glazed tile facades which bring undeniable character and charm. The glazed tiles, exposed to the east of the houses, protected the houses from infiltration caused by thunderstorms which were once very violent.
Legend has it that in Carcès, in mistral and full moon weather, the silhouette of a goat, known as a "dream", appears among the stones of the castle. This dream could lead you to the treasure of "Cabro d'Or" buried by the Templars in some cellar of the castle.
- The situation : 20 kilometers north of Brignoles, Carcès is a village in the heart of the Var, located at the confluence of the Argens and its tributary the Caramy.
Only 50 minutes from the TGV station (Aix en Provence) and 1 hour from Marseille International Airport.

The Carçois and Carçoises enjoy, on the outskirts of their village, the landscape of the Provence Verte lake. Large expanse of water of over 100 hectares which is fed by 6 rivers and which brings peace and serenity to this village and its landscapes.
From the month of March, when the fine weather arrives, picnics are very difficult.
This lake is a freshwater fisherman's paradise!
- To see: the facades with glazed tiles which make the typicality of this village, the trompe-l'oeil facades which tell the story of the village, the Caramy Falls, one of the favorite places for hikers, which has its source in the Sainte Baume massif and which flows into the Argens at Carcès.
The cooperative cellar, also called Le Hameau des Vignerons since 1910, is the third cooperative cellar created in the Var. With its 600 hectares of vines, mainly Rosé.
-Reasons to buy in Carcès:The village has all the amenities. It is a village where life is good, and its Saturday morning market is a real bonus. During the whole summer period, the village offers night markets on tuesdays and thursdays.
