Villecroze
- History and heritage: Villecroze is a medieval village whose name comes from Villa Crosa, from the Latin corsa meaning hollow, cave, ravine, abyss.
The existence of several Roman rural farms have been attested between the first and the fifth centuries after JC.
At a place called "Le Ruou", the order of the Templars held a Commandery there which later became the detention of the Order of the Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem.
A priory was founded near the village by the monks of Saint Victor de Marseille, present from the 11th century /
