- History and heritage: It is said that in Barjols, each fountain has its history. Over time, the gurgling of the 38 fountains of the village has shaped its atypical personality. Thanks to the water flowing from the village fountains, Barjols reached its peak in the 1950s. At the time, the town produced 7% of French leather.
